WELL-WATER OPTION2.0 Cu. Ft. Ozone-Enhanced Iron Removal
A whole-house oxidation and filtration option for qualifying well-water profiles with iron, manganese or hydrogen-sulfide odor. Final equipment and media selection depends on the water test and application.
2.0 cu. ft.system class; final media and flow requirements depend on the selected equipment and water profile
How the process works
- Oxidize: air injection plus ozone helps convert dissolved iron and other oxidizable contaminants into filterable particles.
- Capture: the specified catalytic filtration media captures oxidized material; final media selection depends on the system and water chemistry.
- Backwash: the automatic control valve periodically flushes accumulated material to drain and resets the media bed.
Ozone also provides an additional oxidation step that can be useful where sulfur odor or iron-related fouling is part of the problem—without continuously feeding chlorine or potassium permanganate.
Before we recommend it: we check the water chemistry, source, household flow demand and whether the plumbing can supply the required backwash rate. Media, tank and control-valve specifications determine the final treatment limits.
SALT-FREE SCALE CONTROLTAC Scale-Control Filters
Not every application needs traditional ion-exchange softening. Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) is another tool we can offer when the goal is reducing scale attachment rather than removing hardness minerals.
HARDNESS MINERALS→MICRO-CRYSTALS→LESS LIKELY TO STICK
- No salt regeneration cycle
- No brine tank
- Designed to help control scale formation on plumbing surfaces
- Useful for selected homes, appliances and commercial applications
Important difference: TAC conditions hardness minerals; it does not remove calcium and magnesium or produce true soft water. If the test and application call for actual hardness removal, we'll recommend a properly sized softener instead.
