Find the Water Problem Before You Buy the Equipment

Softening, filtration, RO, UV, oxidation and scale control solve different problems. Mesa Valley's approach is to test key indicators first, explain the numbers, and build a practical treatment path around the water and the customer's goals.

Whole-House Water Treatment + Drinking-Water Treatment

Water Softeners

Ion exchange for actual hardness removal.

Compare softening →

Reverse Osmosis

Point-of-use treatment for drinking and cooking water.

Explore RO →

Sediment & Carbon Filtration

Whole-house or point-of-use filtration selected around the water problem and treatment goal.

Iron / Sulfur / Manganese

Ozone-enhanced oxidation and catalytic filtration can be an option for qualifying well-water profiles.

UV Treatment

UV is a disinfection technology used in appropriate treatment trains; pretreatment and sizing matter.

TAC Scale Control

Salt-free scale control for selected applications where hardness removal is not the goal.

City Water and Well Water Can Need Different Treatment

There is no single tank that solves every water problem. Source water, measured chemistry, household demand, plumbing and intended use all matter.

Water Treatment & Conditioning FAQs

Should I test my water before buying treatment equipment?

Yes. Different treatment technologies address different water problems. Mesa Valley uses in-house screening to help plan treatment and may recommend certified laboratory testing for regulated safety questions.

What is the difference between water treatment and water conditioning?

Water treatment is a broad category that includes filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, UV and other technologies. Conditioning often refers to changing water behavior, such as scale control, without necessarily removing hardness minerals.

What can help with iron or rotten-egg odor in well water?

Iron, manganese and hydrogen-sulfide odor can require oxidation and filtration. The correct system depends on water chemistry, flow demand and available backwash flow.

Important: In-house screening is useful for treatment planning. Questions about regulated drinking-water safety, pathogens or compliance may require testing by an appropriate certified laboratory.
